The lights on your hatchimal will glow different colours depending on its mood and what it wants from you. Each mening related to the eye colour comes with a corresponding action you should do to interact with your hatchimal and also help it develop. Here is the full list.

Pink

What it means: Hear my heartbeat

What you should do if it is still in the egg: Hold the bottom of the egg

What you should do if it has hatched: Pet its head

Red

What it means: Annoyed/Upset

What you should do if it is still in the egg: Rub the bottom of the egg

What you should do if it has hatched: Pet its head

Orange

What it means: Needs burping

What you should do if it is still in the egg: Pat the bottom of the egg

What you should do if it has hatched: Tilt the hatchimal forward or pat its head

Flashing Orange

What it means: It has hiccups

What you should do if it is still in the egg: Tap the egg

What you should do if it has hatched: Make a loud sound to scare them away

Yellow

What it means: Autonomous

What you should do if it has hatched: Interact with the hatchimal in different ways

Green

What it means: Sick

What you should do if it is still in the egg: Rub the bottom of the egg or tilt it

Light Blue

What it means: Cold
